I am trying to backup a Blu-ray on with version 1.9.3 on Ubuntu 14.04 and I get:
MakeMKV v1.9.3 linux(x64-release) started
Backing up disc into folder "/BLURAY-PATH"
Loaded content hash table, will verify integrity of M2TS files.
Loaded content hash table, will verify integrity of M2TS files.
The output file is something like: /BLURAY-PATH/BDMV/BACKUP/BDJO/00006.bdjo
top says the makemkv process is at 100% cpu and it will sit there like that for days. Older versions worked perfect and I have tried the command-line and GUI with the same results.
I also reverted back to version 1.9.1 and its working just fine.
Any ideas?
Backup on version 1.9.3 Hang and uses 100% cpu ubuntu 14.04
Re: Backup on version 1.9.3 Hang and uses 100% cpu ubuntu 14
There have been several bugs reported with 1.9.3, which Mike has acknowledged. I have not seen a schedule for fixing them, though.
As long as you don't encounter a BD with AACS v54, you should be fine with 1.9.2 and earlier. If you do load one, though... You'll be stuck until Mike releases the next version.

FYI 1.9.4 seems to have fixed the issue.
