Great news, support has been added! 
Unfortunately it's not supporting Ubuntu noble installations with Ubuntu pro esm-apps enabled because the makemkv-oss package requires libavcodec60 = 7:6.1.1-3ubuntu5 but the esm-apps version of that package is 7:6.1.1-3ubuntu5+esm1.
EDIT Jun 1, 2024: The PPA mantainer just updated the package to support Ubuntu Pro esm-apps. Thank you very much!
