Installation is covered in the pinned post here viewtopic.php?f=3&t=224. I use those instructions for installing on Linux Mint and they work great.

What problems are you having trying to install?

Also, I publish unofficial Debian packages: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=24328

There are filed ITPs with Debian to place MakeMKV in the non-free section of the archive (https://bugs.debian.org/1003815 and https://bugs.debian.org/1005075), so maybe someday you'll be able to install from a Debian mirror.

Helpful guide! Installing MakeMKV on Debian without using Snap is a valuable workaround for those who prefer traditional package methods or have Snap disabled. It’d be great to include steps for keeping the software updated manually as well.
