Hello,
Makemkv doesn't start with pioneer drivers with newer firmware.
This happens when disk is inserted in the drive, no matter the disc type.
Makemkv stays on scanning cd-rom devices.
I'm using makemkv 1.17.9 on linux.
This happens with two pioneer drives (and on two different computers, one running debian, the other ubuntu):
BDR-XS07U, firmware 1.03 and BD-RW BDR-S13JX, firmware 1.05.
Top shows makemkvcon process taking 100% cpu. Closing makemkv doesn't stop makemkvcon...
What might be the problem?

Re: Problem with pioneer drives
Thanks.
I've downgraded to makemkv-bin-1.17.7 and the problem is gone.
I hope this will be fixed in the next version.
