Does MakeMKV work on Arch Linux?

Hello there,
how the title says, does MakeMKV work on Arch Linux and does anyone use it on Arch Linux?

makemkv is available in the ArchLinux AUR repository (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/makemkv) to be installed by yay.

I know it's not Arch, but I use the AUR package on Manjaro.
