Which media player with 3d mkv support

Which media player do you recommend? Basically, it should play any mkv including 3d by makemkv from a NAS. For example, I found Fantec and Mede8er device, which, however, seem to be quite old and I found criticism for every device. I do not need any fancy stuff, just mkv (with 3d) played fluently from my NAS.
