MCV 3D file -> SBS?

Hi all. I was wondering if anyone has found a simple way to convert the MVC 3D files created by MakeMKV (from a 3D BluRay source) to an SBS or other generally readable 3D format? Here's what I want to do:
  • Rip raw MVC 3D video from BD
  • Create an SBS or other easily readable 3D format from that raw rip
  • Transcode the video using handbrake or other for smaller file size
I'm not sure if there are free tools available which can do this yet or not. I really like the quality of Handbrake's output, so would like to use that as my main transcode tool if at all possible.

Any leads would be appreciated!

If anyone else is following this hoping for a lead, I did find a tool called BD3D2MK3D, which is kind of an all-in-one rip/encode program. I have not been able to make it work correctly (completely garbled SBS output), but it's at least a starting point.

If I end up making it work, I'll post some quickie instructions here.

Try this and it's free
http://www.connecta2000.com/BDtoAVCHD/?lang=en

It will convert MCV or rip directly from BD if it's not encrypted, if it is combine MakeMKV with DBtoAVCHD
