Fandango at Home as of Dec 2024 has unalived all 3D BluRay player apps. I have a Sony 4k 3D TV (XBR-65X900B) that had the Vudu App
and I have a dam near brand new Sony UBP-X700 4k 3D Blu-Ray player that had the Vudu App. I have figured out that I can use SCREEN CAST
from my iPhone to my brand new 4k Roku running the Fandango At Home (FAH) app from my iPhone. That gives me a SBS (side by side) 2D
4k (maybe being upscaled by my TV to 4k) signal... and my dam Sony TV simply says "F U... that signal cannot be allowed to use the 3D options".
And of course there are NO hdmi INPUTS to the Sony UBP-X700 and I can't get it to screen cast from iPhone to this device.
Do I just s#!^ can my Sony TV and buy an LG that can FORCE SBS 3D? And does anyone know if the AWOL 3500 can FORCE SBS 3D?
The LG is the cheaper option if you get lucky on FB Marketplace, but the AWOL 3500 is a "lifetime" purchase for 150" 4k 3D TV.
Vudu RIP... FAH kills 3D
Re: Vudu RIP... FAH kills 3D
I'm thinking there will be a class action lawsuit against FAH because I have purchased equipment
very recently in order to meet the 3d playback requirements (Sony UBP-X700) and they took my
money recently to buy 3d version of Migration, Despicable Me 4, and Super Mario Brothers that I
can NO LONGER stream to either the Sony UBP-X700 Blu-Ray or XBR-65X900B TV.
