Some 3D Blu Ray SBS seem more pixelated than others

I've watched three SBS movies from my OWN 3D Blu Ray Collection on my Quest 2 VR.
1) Spiderman Into the Spiderverse
2) Gravity
3) Avatar
Now, I know when Avatar was released on 3D Blu Ray, it was released with no extras to maximize disc space for picture quality and the picture in VR looks pretty good for 1080p and a 10 year old source.
Spiderman, looms pretty good as well, but it's such an artsy movie, I feel that any flaws are well hidden.
Gravity, on the other hand....is blocky and pixelated. Still watchable, but not as crisp as the other two. Is this seen by others, or could something have gone wrong on my end to make the picture quality less desirable, though the same methods were employed for all three conversions?
PS. My Hobbit : An Unexpected Journey Extended Edition 3D Blu Ray : Disc One would never complete the MakeMKV process. Is there a known issue with this disc in general? I've tried cleaning it, per the FAQ, but to no avail.
