Dredd split in 4 files

Hi
I bought a used 3D disc of Dredd. The movie is separated in 4 distinct files SEG FPL_MainFeature_1 to 4. What is the reason for this? Is it avoidable?

Exact same issue here. I have not watched the movie yet so I'm not sure in what order to merge the files (and I hope there's no editing needed!).
Did you ever find a solution to the problem?

They don't need to be merged. You just need to select the correct title item that corresponds to the complete movie which has 16 chapters.
There are two actual titles to pick from: the 2D version (FPL_MainFeature) which is 23.6gb and the 3D version (FPL_MainFeature_3D) which is 34.3gb.
The remaining FPL_MainFeature_2/3/4 items can be ignored.
