"invalid timecodes" when ripping 3D MVC ISOs

Post by woodpost » Sat Oct 19, 2019 6:34 pm

as of v1.14.5 i've been getting invalid timecode errors when ripping from 3D MVC ISOs, and the rips fail.

Code: Select all

AV synchronization issues were found in file
AV sync issue in stream 0 at 0:47:47.573 : video frame timecode differs by -0.1ms
AV sync issue in stream 0 at 0:47:47.573 : secondary stream video frame timecode differs by +41.611ms

...
AV sync issue in stream 0 at 0:47:50.951 : too many video frames with invalid timecodes, future messages will be suppressed
Failed to save title 0 to file
both 3D ISOs i've tried since updating to 1.14.5 have failed like this. never had any problems before.

I know it’s not the answer you’re looking for, but have you tried going back to your original discs?

I’ve had no issues ripping physical 3D discs in the latest versions.

The problem comes from blu-ray with several .m2ts/siff files which were ripped by tsMuxer or clown BD (with only one .siff file) ...
The problem comes from blu-ray with several .m2ts/siff files which are made by MakeMKV (1 single .mkv file), then .mkv retransform into blu-ray with tsMuxer (with only one .siff file) ...

The opening of the ISO makes mistakes !!!

Is there a solution ?

I found the solution !

Using DVDFab 12 !
Open bluray, use "Ripper"
Choose "Theater (3D MKV/MVC Passthrough)"

And it works !
