3D, what am I doning wrong

No matter what I do I seem unable to rip 3D data from a 3D bluray. Right now I'm looking at Great Gatsby specifically, MakeMKV sees 3 titles, one is 400MB (FBI warning) and two are about 35GB each. I've tried ripping both and extracting VOBs from them. I got two unique files that opened in After Effects, one was slightly darker than the other but no 3D data. What am I doing wrong? I've tried Mac OSX 10.9 (not a great idea I admit) and also Windows XP. Similar result in both. What am I doing wrong? How can I get separate left and right MP4 files off of the 3D Bluray?

Click on the little triangle next to each of the larger files in the left-hand panel. At least one of them should show a track, probably not checked, marked "Mpeg4-MVC-3D". Check it little box next to it, and re-rip.
