bluray rip

hello looking for some help on as to why some movies ripp and some don't so far out of my collection i have about 10 movies that wont ripp.
could it be the firmware or the drive it self is old maybe, my matrix collection all but 2 movies ripped as well as some other random ones. I am looking to get a new drive to ripp 4k collection any suggestions as to which one would be best would be greatly appreciated. and also wondering why some rip fast and some rip slow.

Without information, any response would be a guess. That is why the program can log what it is doing. Things can happen - dirty disks, complex encoding, inadequate power, etc. And even complex encoding or slow drives.
