First attempt to make 3D MKV not working

Post by NiceTry »

Hi Guys,

I tried to rip two IMAX 3D ISO that run perfectly in 3D when played via my MEDE8ER (physical) media player, but the MKV are either not in 3D or no longer recognized by the MEDE8ER as 3D. Please help, because I'm sure I made a mistake somewhere.

I use the latest beta version v1.17.7 on a WIN 10 PC.
I already read the FAQ and added "+sel:(mvcvideo)" to the settings that now look like this: -sel:all,+sel:(favlang|nolang),-sel:mvcvideo,=100:all,-10:favlang,+sel:(mvcvideo)

As you can see from the attached screenshot the MVC file for the AVC file was found and is checked (I only selected one soundtrack and one subtitle).

Why is the output MKV not in 3D (or not recognized as such)?

Let me know if you need more info.

Thanks a lot in advance,
NiceTry

This forum post suggests renaming the mkv so the filename ends with .mvc.mkv to play it as 3D.
