What are you shopping for?

As noted in About this subforum, people offering drives or services for sale are (usually) not offering "bare, unmodified drives".

If you are searching for a pre-flashed, ready-to-use UHD-Friendly drive, the people making offers here can help you.

But remember that you are PAYING FOR A SERVICE, and it will be more expensive than going to a discount vendor who has no knowledge of how to make a drive "UHD-Friendly", and may not even be selling you a new drive.

The supply of drives that can read UHD disks without having their firmware updated has all but vanished. Flashing compatible drives has become easier than ever, if you make the right choice of drive (and enclosure, if the drive isn't internal). There are multiple topics in the forum above explaining how to flash individual drives under different operating systems, if you do not wish to pay for that service.

If you want to "aggressively negotiate" prices, each of the people who sell pre-flashed drives has an email address available to converse with them. Arguing in the forum itself won't be tolerated, and message exchanges on that topic are subject to removal.
