Pioneer BDR-XS07UHD Ejecting Issues

#1 Post by Ebrens » Thu Oct 26, 2023 4:53 pm

I’ve owned a Pioneer-XS07UHD and I’ve been able to burn over 400 movies with a combination of 4K and Blu Ray. However recently the drive is not reading all the discs properly as I continue to add to my collection. Some discs don’t read at all and it’s happened with 4K and Blu Ray discs. Many times the drive will eject the disc and I constantly have to put the disc back in until it finally reads it. I’ve already purchased another drive, but has anything be experienced these issues with this model?

sadly this is usually the motor if you take the top off and kick start it. it will work seen that on the XS drives

this is unusually caused by putting unbalanced discs in the drive for extended periods especially ones with stickers on them

Weird never put any disks with stickers on them.
