Here are my debug logs. Anyone has an idea? Is it possible to flash down the firmware to something better than Firmware version 1.03/ID43. Normal BR working, 4k BR not.

Thank you and best Wishes.

Your issue is not firmware related. Your drive is UHD compatible and libredrive enabled. Nothing to be done with the drive. Try going back to older version of MakeMKV. Most Linux users use v1.17.7
Cheers :D

Dear Marty,

i was not able to downgrad to this very old 1.17.7 cause of dependency hell, especially to new ffmpeg etc.

Is there any other workaround anyone can kindly suggest or will this be fixed in an upcoming version perhaps? :-)

Do a lot of Linux folk have this problem at the moment? I found this: viewtopic.php?t=37670

You would probably be better off asking in the Linux threads but I can say for sure that your issue is not firmware related so whatever you do, DO NOT flash/edit/update the firmware on your drive.

And yes, v1.18.2 has been an issue for many Linux users. Many have reported success when going back to v1.17.7.
Cheers :D
