Looking for a 4k Ultra HD UHDs, Blu-rays, CDs and DVDs drive (canada)

Post by Abstra208 »

I am looking for 4k Ultra HD UHDs, Blu-rays, CDs and DVDs drive to write, read, and most importantly, rip disks.
I would love a portable one with a USB-C interface.

If you know anyone or a website with a drive for sale that can rip disk, contact me or respond to this topic

Curious why you'd try opening a new topic on something that is covered extensively in existing topics, with vendors selling exactly what you're looking for, where you're looking for them. It's almost like you didn't bother to scan the website before opening a new topic...

Thanks for the reply.
I did do a small scan before posting but I didn't find anything.
I did see that Newegg has some Pioneer BDR-XD08UMB-S in their store, do you think it will work out of the box or I will need to flash an older version of the software?

Loading this subforum only, and searching for "canada", I see two links to sellers, including:

New (Canada Only) Multiple Drives available ASUS BW-16D1HT - LG WH16NS40 - LG WP50NB40

Latest post end of May 2024, about a month ago. Is that too far back for you?

There is also discussion about Pioneer drives, and how new ones (post 12/22/2022) are blocked from doing ripping, and how you have to find ones with older firmware, because you cannot (at present) load their firmware with a version that works.

Actually LOOKING for information makes it easier to FIND information.
