The items for sale are four ASUS BW-16D1H-U PRO Blu-ray burners.
They come from a standard 14‑day return and are in like‑new condition.
(There may be slight scratches on the piano‑black surfaces, but that stuff scratches just from looking at it.)
The price per unit is €400.
Importantly, all four units contain Pioneer drives.
This is likely the last production batch of this ASUS model (manufactured in early 2025).
All internal drives have production dates between May and July 2024 (they originally shipped with 2020 firmware).
The drives are in perfect condition and come as a full factory set: the burner, power supply, power cable, USB cable, stand, documentation, software disc, and even a carrying bag.
This model is no longer available for purchase as new.
Stores still have the last remaining units of the BW-16D1X-U model, which uses an LG drive.
These are no longer as reliable, both in writing and reading, as the burners equipped with Pioneer drives.
Unfortunately, no more units with Pioneer drives will be produced, as Pioneer has discontinued manufacturing these devices.
All burners have been crossflashed by me with firmware version 1.02 from the BDR-S12UHT model, which enables ripping 4K UHD Blu‑ray discs.
This function works flawlessly with software such as MakeMKV and XReveal. The firmware is not locked.
The burners support writing BDXL media, including triple‑layer (100 GB) and quad‑layer (128 GB) discs, as well as M‑DISC.
This model is ideal for laptops but also works perfectly with desktop PCs.
All burners are 100% technically functional.
I have thoroughly tested the drives with CD, DVD, Blu‑ray, and 4K UHD Blu‑ray discs.
I ship within one business day via DHL within the EU (shipping cost: €15) and accept PayPal payments.
