I am new to this. I have an LG BE14Nu40 Rom Ver: 1.00, Manufactured March 2013. Is it Possible to flash this drive so I can Extract and/or Duplicate UHD Disk? Please provide the method. Also, what is the best drive currently available to be purchase? Prefer to be external, but Performance is more important. Last but not lease, Is "MakeMKV" the best software out there to backup and/or duplicate UHD disk?

Ya'll need to let Alex take care of your blu-ray drive. I wasted a weekend trying to deal with getting a UHD friendly player, downgrading, etc. --- not worth it. Work with Alex, he'll have something sent to you within a week of payment; plug-and-play, really reasonably priced. He was also accessible when I had a couple of questions upon receipt. It's the real deal. Very satisfied!
