Just starting out with my DVDs, using a external drive wasn't cutting it, had to pull an old DVD drive from a prebuilt. Looking to get a Blu Ray drive to do my Blu Ray after my DVDs. Anyone still selling?

I forgot to mention I will ship anywhere on Earth but the shipping goes up obviously. I've sent drives to 13 countries now without a single issue. Thank you.

So I decided to reach out to Alex about getting a drive and enclosure, and I gotta say, I am HIGHLY impressed.

He reached out very quickly with a myriad of options for various drives, some pros and cons, and associated pricing. He also insisted on sending whichever drive I chose without pre-payment as a good faith offering. In this day and age, I am a little shocked that anyone would do this as I assume many people simply wouldn't pay, but, he insisted that he has a great success rate on happy customers. He hasn't yet been screwed by even so much as a single customer.

The drive (and enclosure) arrived promptly, was packed well, and was exactly as I had ordered. I immediately followed up with a payment, and we're off to the races.

If you're hesitating to work with him, I'd tell ya that you have zero to worry about, and he'll get you what you need.

Alex, thanks again for doing exactly what you said you'd do! :D

Sent email a little over a week ago. He shipped out a few days ago and received today. Tested dumping with a regular and UHD and worked great. He also insisted in not taking money up front which as the previous poster said is pretty bizarre today but after I received and tested dumping a few movies I sent $.

10/10 would buy again.

A few thoughts:

-Almost everyone I meet through this hobby and especially on these boards are super cool examples of human beings!
-I'm old fashioned I guess and believe in the "your word is your bond" concept.
-Collecting 4K UHD Blu Rays is expensive! So if you're coming to me for a drive it's assumed that you've got a few shekels in the bank.
-It's easier for me to ask you for payment via PayPal "family and friends" when you already have the merchandise :-)
-As it turns out, the law is old fashioned too, and in matter such as this your word IS actually your bond!

Hi folks I've been using makemkv now for a few months and love having my disk collection on my plex server. The only issue I have so far is that I ended up ripping pcs audio instead of the ac3 stream but that's a subject for another day and thread . As I have only a lowly DVD drive for my hp probook , This thread intrigues me greatly!. Pardon my ignorance and for the question ithat must certainly be ubiquitous and perhaps unknown to me only because I can't PM yet (newly registered). How might I make the necessary contact?

The people selling drives have posted their contact emails multiple times throughout their various messages, to get around the PM issue for new users.

Received my ASUS UHD friendly drive on Saturday (wicked fast, 2 day shipping!), installed it in my desktop, and promptly backed up 2 UHD discs without a single hiccup. Alex is as legit as they come, and the fact you are able to try the drive without payment in advance is what sold me in the first place. Support this guy folks! He's a tremendous human being. Off to back up more discs...
