flash failed on asus BW_16D1HT

hi guys , i bought a supposed brand new asus BW_16D1HT on ebay from china and just tried to flash it (had 1.01 firmware version)

first flash crashed and driver was called like an LG one : hl-dt-st_bd-re_bh16ns48_boot

no disc worked (drive couldnt even open)

i finally managed to flash to 3.01 and same situation : no disc recognized (BR , 4K , DVD ... none )

i was reading BR and DVD before ...

did I killed it or is there any solution to make it recognize and read discs again

thanks so much for your help , i cant read discs for months now and just received this drive today and i feel totally lost ...

You fucked up your drive with a MT1939 chip that can't be made UHD capable at all. You didn't read. What you can try is the modified ASUS flasher to recover it for BD and DVD. The ASUS 1.01 firmware can be found here at the bottom of the post.

Thanks for your answer , will try this tomorrow.

Before i read uhd with an Asus bw-12b1st , i had in mind that the bw-16 could do the same...

If this one is dead di i have any chance to make m'y b12 works again ? It still reads dvds but not br/uhd . It spins it seems cant find the disc , i checked on web it has two lenses (one for dvds and one one for br , any chance to swap ijt with bw-16 parts ?)
