Billy's signature contains the link titled "UHD Drive Guide"; did you not see it?

You need to use the recovery method as described in the gif.

Posting in different threads won't help you. That's not focused and you will not solve your problem. Follow the link I posted and choose in the first upper box the firmware that you misflashed. IMPORTANT! Then choose in the lower box LG WH16NS60 1.02. Do so and report back.

we already knew what drive was in it
you recover it the same way in or out of the case
you will have to use cli and add nocheck to the command to ignore the tray being opened

Why don't you write a cli cookbook for him?

problem is his drive is likely already dead as i told him to unplug it in the email when he emailed me but he did not turn it off the longer its on with the wrong fw the more likely it is to be dead forever even after being recovered
he said he was trying to flash it for 12+ hours straight
i have recovered drives like this but i was in like 3 hours
seen many other that left it on in their pc for days and when i recovered them it was dead
