Help needed - Verbatim 43888

Hi together
to be honest with you - I am very new to this matter and I need help.
I bought a Verbatim 43888 UHD Drive and I thought I could just connect it to the PC and start using MakeMKV to store my discs onto my NAS System.. Now I read about the LibreDrive topic and that I need to flash the firmware.
Honestly, I do not know what exactly I need to download and what I need to do, in order to make it work. Anyone here who could guide me through that process?
