Flashing Asus BW-16D1HT

Hi there, I recently acquired an internal BD drive like I've been wanting for ages, this Asus one was the only one I could really find, so that's what I got.
I want to flash it, but just want to check I'm doing everything right before I brick it or something.
It's info is:
Drive Information
OS device name: D:
Manufacturer: ASUS
Product: BW-16D1HT
Revision: 3.11
Serial number: (idk if this is needed or if it's something I should censor)
Firmware date: 2120-12-01 17:59
Bus encryption flags: 1F
Highest AACS version: 82
LibreDrive Information
Status: Possible, not yet enabled
Drive platform: MT1959
Yes, that is the Firmware date, it's from the future apparently. I assume it's meant to say 2021-12-01, idk how that happened.
The manufacture date on the top of the drive says August 2025, so it's pretty new.
I have downloaded SDFtool flasher as well as the firmware pack.
I've already used it to read the firmware and create a current firmware dump as backup, but here's where I'm not sure where to go next.
According to the SDF thread, revision 3.11 is encrypted and it says "If your desktop drive has encrypted firmware, flash WH16NS60 1.02-MK first, then you can either leave it as is or flash any other desktop drive firmware if you want to."
But the UHD flashing guide say "Asus BW-16D1HT on any Firmware directly to > Asus BW-16D1HT 3.10MK"
So I'm not really sure which one to do here.
Also will either of these fix the sleep bug thing, or will I still need to flash it to WH16NS60 or whatever?
Also idk if it's relevant, but I'd like to keep the M Disc compatability if possible.
And is it worth installing any of the software that it came with on disc, like power2go or e-green?
