BP50NB40 flashed using steps from Ultimate Guide not reading 4k UHD bluray

Hi all. I followed the instructions on the Ultimate Guide for my new LG drive (WP/BP50NB40 to > BP50NB40-NB50-1.03MK then to > BP60NB10 1.02MK or 1.00MK) and its now on BP60NB10 1.02MK. I did see the notes in the SDFtool Flasher and gif for the date UPDATE - 21/12/2021. I followed the instructions in the guide thinking it was more recent.
I just added a new 4k UHD blueray into the drive and its not being recognized. Should I have followed the flasher 2021 instructions? Do I start over by reflashing the original firmware as a first step or do I risk bricking this drive? Any advice would be appreciated.

Um, no. It is still on BP50NB40 1.03-MK firmware. You haven't followed the process correctly. You could also try using the process in the SDFtool Flasher thread.

Thank you. It worked, and I didn't brick my drive.

Thank you, I followed the wrong process and was worried about making the drive unusable. It's working now.
