Pioneer BDR-S13UBK Stopped Working

Hey everyone. Last night my Pioneer drive stopped ripping blu-rays. Directly before it stopped working, I upgraded to Windows 11 and to MakeMKV 1.18.2. Before I updated, the highest AACS version was 82, but that wasn't either of the most recent disks (the last working disk was 36 and the first non-working disk was 50). Anyone have any insight on what might be causing this issue?
Drive Information
OS device name: E:
Current profile: BD-ROM
Manufacturer: PIONEER
Product: BD-RW BDR-S13U
Revision: 1.05
Serial number: xxxxxxxx
Firmware date: 2023-08-01
Bus encryption flags: 1B
Highest AACS version: 36

LibreDrive Information
Status: Enabled
Drive platform: RS9201
Firmware name: PIONEER BDR-213T
Firmware type: Original (unpatched)
Firmware version: 1.05/ID43
DVD all regions: Yes
BD raw data read: Yes
BD raw metadata read: Yes
Unrestricted read speed: Yes
And here is an example that keeps repeating from the log:
002004:0000 Error 'Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST:COPY PROTECTION KEY EXCHANGE FAILURE - KEY NOT ESTABLISHED' occurred while issuing SCSI command AD010..080002400 to device 'SPTI:\Device\CdRom1'

... which eventually, gives
003306:0000 Can't read AACS VID from disc - most likely current AACS host certificate is revoked by your drive

Just reboot the drive - viewtopic.php?p=186821#p186821

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, rebooting does not resolve the issue. I'm not sure if these messages are helpful, but this is what appears when MakeMKV is Scanning CD-ROM devices:
DEBUG: Code 3221225486 at baW0c/YZ^K,K|GTtwEpS:213130582
DEBUG: Code 4279394306 at ^\4O;l[]cZAB>C:7o:121264878

DEBUG: Code 4278603778 at ^\4O;l[]cZAB>C:7o:121264878
Eventually the disk shows up. But then the errors from my original post appear during the Decrypting phase.

Have you had any luck here? My BDR-S13U has also stopped working and is giving the following errors.

When first booting up, multiple lines of this:

Code: Select all

DEBUG: Code 4279394306 at jQZW11fA"<#iHILp2:121264878
When attempting to access a blu ray:

Code: Select all

Error 'Scsi error - HARDWARE ERROR:INTERNAL TARGET FAILURE' occurred while issuing SCSI command A30..00200740100720..0C5B80A48CD82035D5163B1B1B530AE1429 to device 'IoKit:/IOBDServices/0C9E1063'

DEBUG: Code 0 at vU*<C%q5k#OFKC6+`K:213130789
I've installed the latest SDF.bin (I'm on a Mac), I've rebooted, power cycled, etc. and cannot get any blu rays to open properly anymore. This drive was purchased just this summer and was working great up until a couple months ago when it suddenly started throwing these errors (it's in the MercuryPro enclosure recommended by Billy as well).

In case it's useful, here's the drive information:

Code: Select all

Firmware type: Original (unpatched)
Firmware version: 1.05/ID43

Just an update on this in case anyone else runs into this issue. I was able to get my drive working by deleting my _private_data.tar file and disabling internet updates in MakeMKV's preferences. I suspect something about the new sdf.bin is not playing nicely with my drive and causing all those problems.
