Asus SBW-06D5H-U - reading speed

Hi,
i've an external/portable slim usb drive (see topic). My problem is the limited reading speed (only 2x) while ripping blu rays to ssd. I know that the reading/ripping speed is reduced on porpose by the manufactures but i'm very annoyed about that fact.
Is anybody here, who can help with a patched firmware?
I would really appreciate some feedback. Thank you so much for your support.
