Hi, I know is a bit stupid ask this while we have other posts saying, but since one wrong step may brick the device I wanna confirm if this drive is flashable and what firmware is the correct one.
This is a new drive that I just got today, I hope it's the correct device.

I found 2 firmwares, there are any difference?

and

Just to be sure, the one from MK pack seems the modded one, the one from the drive is the same or some updated version?

Flash it with BP60NB10 NB12 1.02 MK firmware.

I take a look in your FW pack but I didn't see NB12 specific firmware, only this one, I suppose this is incompatible:
And a doubt, this FW seems to be in the list of known encrypted firmwares, and the post said as well "If you have a LG BU40N external drive with encrypted firmware, flash this first... ...", My drive is a external but is not BU40N, means I don't need that step, right?

I found, the "DE_LG_BP60NB10-NB12_1.02-MK.bin" is the correct one.
But SDF Flasher tells that my FW is encrypted, means that I need to use official LG flash software instead?

No, you cannot use the official LG flasher. SDFtool Flasher wil automatically remove the firmware encryption. Yes, the DE_LG_BP60NB10-NB12_1.02-MK.bin is the correct firmware.

What is the difference between DE_LG_BP60NB10-NB12_1.02-MK.bin and the HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BP60NB10-1.02-NM00800-212005070935.bin
I flashed my LG BP60NB10 (encrypted) to HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BP60NB10-1.02-NM00800-212005070935.bin and it works but should we be using DE_LG_BP60NB10-NB12_1.02-MK.bin instead?
Also, I'm a little confused on your statement "remove the firmware encryption" being that I changed my firmware using enc should we downgrade this?
FYI... Marty HUGE THANKS IN ADVANCE!!

DE_LG_BP60NB10-NB12_1.02-MK is for the new BP60NB10 with SVC NB12.
The drives have encrypted firmware on them. When flashed with the MK firmware, the firmware encryption is removed. Using enc allows the flashing to be successful. I'm not sure what else you are asking??

My apologies for my ignorance, "SVC NB12" refers to the firmware? Being that my LG has 1.02, than this doesn't apply to my or anyone with 1.02.
You stated, "SDFtool Flasher will automatically remove the firmware encryption" thus I thought that maybe removing the encryption was a benefit... I was reading into SDF removes the encryption but that would only apply to SVC NB12.

No, SVC NB12 is the code on the bottom of the drive.
Well, yes, the benefit is by removing the original encrypted firmware and replacing it with MK firmware, your drive has been liberated! Libredrive is enabled and you can now rip your UHD discs. All firmware on drives from 2020 onwards are encrypted.
