I recently bought Pioneer BDR-XD08UMB-S.
I realized that it needs old version of firmware in Pioneer product to use LibreDrive after I ordered.
I'm delivered my drive today and I checked the version of firmware. it's 1.02

Drive Information
OS device name: /dev/rdisk11
Current profile: BD-ROM
Manufacturer: PIONEER
Product: BD-RW BDR-XD08U
Revision: 1.02
Serial number: CEDL002054UC
Firmware date: 2022-12-27
Bus encryption flags: 1B
Highest AACS version: 25

LibreDrive Information
Status: Possible, not yet enabled
Drive platform: Pioneer RS9331
Firmware version: ID05

No disc inserted

Is there any way to downgrade it's firmware?
Is the only way to use libredrive making a refund and buy another one?

FYI im using M1 mac

Return it. No point buying another one as they all will come with the incompatible firmware.
