Ever since my workplace replaced their TVs with Smart TVs that are no longer compatible with Blu-Ray Players I have had to rip my own discs to play them using the Smart TV's integrated VLCPlayer. Recently I was going to rip another disc I own with my external drive only for it to stop functioning. Put any disc into it and it just states "No Disc Detected". I assume it's just old and given out. I've had it since 2023.
I had been using a LG Slim Portable Blu-ray/DVD Writer manufactured November 2022, model BP50NB40.
What External Blu-Ray/DVD Writer would the people of this form recommend to buy in the USA? One that works fully with the latest version of MakeMKV.
