MATSHITA BD-MLT UJ265 4K Firmware?

I have the external slim BDXL MATSHITA BD-MLT UJ265 and was wondering if it can be flashed with a firmware to rip 4K discs, At its current firmware version 1003 it does not recognize 4K discs in makemkv, IMGBURN recognizes the disc displays the title but gives me copy protection error.

Only some LG, ASUS and Pioneer drives are flashable. The guide will show you ....
