Issues with External Drive Compatibility in LibreDrive

Hi everyone,

I’ve been trying to use LibreDrive with my external Blu-ray drive, but I’m running into some issues. The drive is recognized by MakeMKV, but when I try to use LibreDrive to rip discs, I get an error message saying “Drive not supported” or something similar.

Here’s a bit more detail:

Drive Model: LG WH16NS40
Firmware Version: 1.03
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro, version 21H1
MakeMKV Version: 1.17.7
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there a specific setting or firmware update that might resolve this compatibility issue? Any advice on how to get LibreDrive to work with my external drive would be greatly appreciated.
