BD-RE BH16NS40, LibreDrive safe?

Would I safely be able to flash this drive to LibreDrive firmware with Linux? MakeMKV says it is but it's not in the list of supported drives on this forum, an older revision is.

It is supported. It has encrypted firmware. So use the right command line option.

Never got round to doing it, might have a go this summer :)
