Hello all...
I am looking for a definitive answer about these UHD friendly Drive, Libredrive, flashed Bluray Drive or whatever.

My question :
Will I be able to play any Bluray with a flashed Bluray Drive with my Kodi player connected to my Raspberry Pi ?
Or with PowerDvd on Windows ?
Or with Windvd ?
I mean, a bluray unreadable because of its protection will be playable ?

I see so many of these on ebay and I would love to buy one of them.

Many thanks for your answer
And apologyze for my bad English.

Yes and no if you rip it yes it will be very easy to play.
But direct playback from disc on raspberry pie is going to require setup with Kodi I think it is possible but you will need to enable integration in makemkv and or manually copy the plugin to Kodi

That's what I thought...

A long time ago, I managed to install makemkv plugin into my libreelec...
But I was with an old version such as Krypton I think.

Today, it seems to be a little bit harder. I didn't succed yet.
If you have any clue with these newer version ? Or maybe a link ?
