I'm trying to use SDFTool and I use the bin file for Wh14NS40. Once I run the tool I get this error message "Command produced error code 0x82052400". Am I doing something wrong?

You need to post more information. AnyDVD status with which firmware is on the drive and what you would like to flash.

Have you left the optical drive tray open?

Is there a disc in the drive?

Tray must be closed and the drive must have no disc?

I've got the same issue when using the SDFtool Flasher or command line: Command produced error code [some digits, changes every time]

This is my device:

Code: Select all

Drive Information
OS device name: \Device\CdRom0
Manufacturer: HL-DT-ST
Product: BD-RE BP60NB10
Revision: 1.02
Serial number: SIM03L33E1545
Firmware date: 2120-05-07 09:35
Bus encryption flags: 17
I've been trying to load this file:

Code: Select all

HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BP60NB10-1.02-NM00800-212005070935
Let me know if that's not the correct one but any help regarding the error would be great!!

BTW The drive is closed and no disk loaded.

Thanks!

Sorted! I just opened the drive and closed it again and restarted the tool and now it worked!

How is the drive connected to the computer? Anything else looks good.

Must have been a bad connection on the microswitch for the drive tray.
