As long as I know, the Libredrive Information should look like this in order to downgrade my drive and rip 4k UHD blurays

However, as you can see mine doesn't show all the information but only "Status: Possible, not yet enabled/Drive platform: MT1959"

Can I continue to downgrade this thing without risk of bricking it?

Yes, go ahead and flash it. WH16NS60 1.02-MK is the recommended firmware for your NS55.

kay, thank you so much for confirming and literally terminating my anxiety :D
but one more thing i wanna confirm, the "WH16NS60 1.02-MK" you mentioned, means that I should downgrade my firmware "to" that one right? the current one I got is 1.05
plz understand me for asking these questions since I really don't want anything to go wrong

Yes, using SDFtool Flasher, select your BH16NS55, select the WH16NS60 1.02-MK firmware and click START.
