I have FW 1.01 on my BDR-S12U.
Weren't you afraid to lose UHD rip capabilities when updating? And may I ask how you did that?

You will never lose UHD rip capabilities because the new firmware adds only few improvements
while the libredrive mode is running in RAM (firmware is not overwritten).

In order to upgrade fw, here is the link:

https://pioneer.jp/cgi-bin/device/downl ... W102EU.exe

You have to scrool down page and press "AGREE" button in order to download fw file.

I replaced LG BH16NSS55 with Pioneer BDR S12UHT.
It reads everything, without any noise.
Great improvement.
I can play my UHD discs using MPC HC and Madvr !

Show the whole status information. If your firmware date is Dec. 2022 or later you have to wait.
