Thank you for the reply. I downloaded the SDF flasher and all in one firmware pack, and flashed according to the instructions.

The firmware dump created something called
dump_user_Logitec_LBD_USB_Device_LU12_212106211345_MO3LBTF0732.tar

I tried flashing with BU40N from the firmware pack.

Libredrive was not enabled, and makemkv says almost nothing changed. Except, AACS was latest version 68, after the flash it was version 76.

Am I doing it wrong, using the wrong firmware, or is my drive impervious to flashing?
Use enc to flash

Thanks so much. That worked. I didn't realize "use enc to flash" was clickable.

So I'm a bit confused. I have a BDR-209DBK with 1.51 (latest) firmware. I see it in the supported list, though all other documentation says it will not be able to read UHD disks. If it is in the above list, I can simply put the 4k disk in and it will read/rip it? Only asking because I have seen where others have said it is not a native UHD reading drive so it won't ever work. Just ordered the 4k version of The Batman and hoping to be able to rip it and others.

Thanks for your time!

Doesn't this:

"PIONEER-BD-RW___BDR-209D-1.51-148709AB-8600ID61-20180508
PIONEER-BD-RW___BDR-209D-1.51-664813FF-8601ID61-20180508"

from the supported list on the first page mean it will work with a BDR-209DBK?

You need to get a LG drive or a Pioneer that has an "U" in its name.

It means that model is LibreDrive compatible but LibreDrive does not equal UHD compatible.
Cheers :D

Ah, sorry. I got super confused looking at the UHD drive page which brought me to this one. I misunderstood the support listed as UHD ripping, not Libre. My mistake. Thank you.

I ordered the Pioneer BDR-XS07TUHD from Asmcom last week, it came the next day! Super fast delivery and good communication cannot fault him. I would highly recommend and the drive works great!

I got my first 4k Blu rays yesterday and put it into my Pioneer drive and the disc wasn't recognized, MakeMKV said there was no disc inserted. From what I read on the supported LibreDrive list, my drive and firmware is supported. Any advice? Or rather, what am I missing?

Yup, that's what I was missing!

Thanks. I've had this drive for a while, I just figured the Model number would be different between a plain Bluray drive and one capable of 4k. I kept reading the Pioneer BDR-XD05 can read 4k Blurays, so I thought I'd give it a shot.
