How to flash drive guide?

Hello,
In Mike's post from March 15, 2019, he mentioned a guide for how to flash a drive will be created but I haven't been able to find anything like this on the site.

I don't usually do flashing of devices, so I'm pretty green in this area. Is there such a guide or can someone help?

I'm using an HL-DT-ST BD-RE WH16NS40 BDROM.

Additionally, will flashing a non-UHD Rom for Libre drive enable ripping of UHD discs? Or would I need a UHD Rom for that.
