I ran the official update patch for this drive but now it wont detect disks. It will show up in device manger and "This PC." You can view its properties, view its hardware IDs, and eject it from windows.

I forgot to make a copy of the original ROM. I have tried the SDI tool flashing utility but it doesn't seem to be changing anything.

I would like to get this drive working again. Please help.

You flashed a mt1939 drive to mt1959 read the recovery section of the guide and try sdftools recovery option if that does not work you will have to try dosflash after that it's best to probably call it a loss

Does anyone know where I can obtain a compatible firmware for this drive? I have looked over the dosflash utility and I should be able to use it. Just need to obtain the correct firmwere.
