BP60NB10 - Updating Failure #5

Can anybody help advise me what to do to get Marty's Asus flasher tool to work? Getting updating failure #5 error code. Drive information below. Thanks!

not going to work with asus flasher you need to use sdf tool or command line to flash that firmware because its encrypted

Yep, the ASUS flasher won't work with newer encrypted firmware. The SDFtool Flasher is the recommended tool these days.

Great, that tool worked fantastic. Thanks for the help. In the 'Ultimate UHD Drives Guide Updated 2020' thread I read the line 'BP60NB10, UHD Official External Slim 9.5mm USB 2.0-Must use Marty's asus tool to flash 8/24/19 or later only' so I thought I didn't have the option to use anything else. Thanks for the help guys.

Yeah, it now depends on if your drive comes with an encrypted firmware or not. If it does, then SDFtool Flasher is the only one that will work.
