Hi,

As the subject says, anyone successfully burned BD-R with an "LG WH16NS40 1.04" flashed to "LG WH16NS40 1.02 DE"?

I'd like to know if my new drive is faulty or if the "LG WH16NS40 1.02 DE" firmware is the reason why I get Write Errors.

Unfortunately, I didn't tried to burn BD-R with it (unflashed) when I got it Wednesday, I had Billycar11 flashing it almost right after I unboxed it.

Thanks guys!!

Ok, I flashed my LG WH16NS40 1.02 DE back to the LG WH16NS40 1.03 Official and I can burn BD-R.
So, the LG WH16NS40 1.02 DE firmware flashed on a LG WH16NS40 1.04 December 2019 results in a drive that is unable to burn BD-R.

can you post the log from make mkv?

I have a burn issue as well and it tells me the drive or disc is dirty. However the disc is clean and seems to be a bug

run makemkv... so we can see what you have...

is there a unique serial or change we need to look for.

do you have the same clean issue I have?

not run it to rip a disc...
