I am attempting to use the downgrade flash tool V.2 to enable libredrive for my LG WH16NS60 . . . Drive specs

After selecting the downgrade package for the LG drive and then starting the process, nothing happens. Waited 10 minutes and had to use the process manager to terminate the program. Guessing, there is a security setting in Windows/Windows defender that is preventing the program from running . . . Help is appreciated.

Your sata to USB converter is not flashing friendly get one that is that I have listed here https://www.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic ... 16&t=19634

Thanks for the info . . . I was in fact using the Vantec CB-ST00U3 to connect to my LG WH16NS60 drive . . . I also have an LG BU40N installed in a Vantec NST-501S3-BK enclosure and unfortunately the flash tool does not work with this drive either

After clicking OK . . . Nothing except reverting back to the original window

Wrong conclusion. The flash tool doesn't work with your enclosure. You need a different one or attach the drives directly to your computer.

The flash tool does work with some Vantec NST-501S3-BK they changed the chipset but a solution is coming
