"No disc inserted" with WH16NS40

Hello,
I have an LG WH16NS40. I used the patch from this post:
viewtopic.php?f=19&t=20054
LibreDrive appears to be enabled from this image:
However, no matter how many times I try with different Blu-rays, MakeMKV always says "No disc inserted." I admittedly have no idea what I'm doing other than a loose understanding of what LibreDrive is and the process for enabling it with MakeMKV. I would greatly appreciate the community's support in getting my drive working with LibreDrive and MakeMKV.
Thank you!
Here's a photo of my Blu-Ray drive:

"No disk inserted" is the drive's way of saying it cannot detect a properly formatted disk. LibreDrive vs the firmware really doesn't change that.
Have you RESET your computer recently? Not just rebooted it, but caused it to reset the motherboard? If you do not have a reset button, doing a shutdown and powering the machine off will do the same thing.
Sometimes, the hardware gets confused, and just rebooting doesn't fix that. It takes a hardware reset to get things back into sync.

you followed the bootleg guide and bricked your drive it was to old 2015+ only should have followed this one:
https://www.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic ... 16&t=19634 has all the info you need including how you can possabley recover it if you pc supports ide mode
just as that second post says that guide will cause problems.

Thank you very much for the reply, Woodstock. I found the Reset switch on my motherboard and pressed it.
That did not correct the issue, unfortunately. Is there anything else I can try?

Thank you, Billycar11. I had read that and tried another .bin beforehand. I'd downloaded the patch and went for it when the other didn't work not knowing if my drive was the specific one for which the patch was intended. The forum has so many patches and threads that it is really hard to know which one is right.
Do you or anyone know how I can revert my Blu-ray drive?
