LibreDrive Compatiblity

I a thinking about getting the ASUS BW-16D1X-U External Blu-ray Drive and I am trying to find out if it is LibreDrive compatible
If you're looking for it to read UHD disks, it won't.
If that isn't a factor, I'll ask a friend of mine to test the one I gave him when I found out that it wouldn't work for UHD.
