Pioneer Drive BDR-S12U Compatibility?

Hi,

I have a Pioneer Blue Ray Drive BDR-512U.

1. Can this be flashed to become a LibreDrive?
2. If it can does that mean a LibreDrive can also be made region free?
3. What is the differnce between these and UHD drives?

likely not fw is probably too new
what's the firmware date and version?
