I able able to successfully down flash to DE 1.0 or 1.03 MK with no problem at all.
I have seen statements that say 1.0 is compatible with DVDFAB, MakeMKV and ...
While 1.03 is compatible with MakeMKV only (but is the preferred solution)
Can someone elaborate on what features/bug fixes / benefits each of these offers so I can chose.
From my testing, I cant find any difference between the two for MakeMKV. (perhaps Im not using a feature that requires 1.03MK)
SInce I do use DVDFab and MakeMKV interchangeably. I would prefer to stay on 1.0 unless 1.03MK / MakeMKV offers some unique advantage.
For example, 25% of all brand new UHDs fail to rip due to read errors. I wear gloves, I have both an BU40N and a ASUS drive and the UHD surfaces are visually flawless and yet I still have endless grief ripping reliably. If somehow 1.03MK improved this failure rate, I would be overjoyed.
