Hi folks,
I am running a WH14NS40, which I flashed several months ago to DE_LG_WH16NS60_1.02_MK. I've been ripping DVDs since then without issue, but I just tried doing a bluray for the first time since flashing it, and all I'm getting is a "no disc" read. This is happening across multiple discs. I have tried flashing to different firmware and flashing back, but nothing I seem to do is making it recognize bluray discs. Here is the information that I see in MakeMKV.
Drive Information
OS device name: D:
Manufacturer: HL-DT-ST
Product: BD-RE WH16NS60
Revision: 1.02
Serial number: KLAO31F3603
Firmware date: 2118-10-29 19:36
Bus encryption flags: 17
Highest AACS version: 64
LibreDrive Information
Status: Enabled
Drive platform: MT1959
Firmware type: Patched (microcode access re-enabled)
Firmware version: 1.02
DVD all regions: Yes
BD raw data read: Yes
BD raw metadata read: Yes

No disc inserted
Has anyone run into this issue or have any idea about how to fix it?

Re: "No Disc" when trying to read Blu-Rays
Thanks for the advice! I have tried both shutting down/restarting my PC as well as individually unplugging the drive—leaving both offline for several minutes.
I have also tried multiple bluray discs, one of which is brand new. I did clean the older one, which I had ripped successfully prior to flashing the drive.
As for cleaning the lasers, would that just be done with compressed air blown inside the drive?

eject tray
unplug drive with tray out
pop off front bezel clips on sides and bottom with plastic tool
undo screws from bottom will be under stickers if you have an s13, 213 does not have stickers.
flip backover and remove top cover
clean lasers with a lint free cloth or qtip and alcohol and dry with another do this 2 times and do not let it air dry you must remove the residue with a dry one!

Re: "No Disc" when trying to read Blu-Rays
I bought a LG WH16NS60 off of ebay with the same issue. "No Disc" when trying to read Blu-Rays. How I fixed my issue was adjusting the height of the motor spindle mount where the discs spins on. There are two screws on both sides of the motor spindle mount. You will need to remove the bottom of the drive. Now look for the motor spindle mount. There you will see three screws. The ones to adjust are the ones on the both sides. Tighten the screws 1/4 turn and see of the blu ray is read. Keeping tightening it until the drive starts reading the blu ray. Before I forget. Used a scratched up blu ray that you don't mind scratching up. This way if you over adjust and start scrapping the disc it will not matter. Good luck.

Re: "No Disc" when trying to read Blu-Rays
Thanks for the advice. I opened up my drive and tried the alcohol cleaning, which doesn't seem to have worked. Guess I'm out of luck.
