I read somewhere in the unending volume of data on libredrive that only systems with Intel CPUs and NON-AMD chipset video GPUs can use the software successfully.
Does Intel have a lock on using libredrive?

GPU has no influence on MakeMKV.
I'm using AMD CPUs with MakeMKV and LibreDrive, so I don't see where the idea of "Intel-only" would come from.

Thank you. It seemed a little froggy to me that libredrive would require Intel chips.
Read it in a forum.

I suspect they were confusing ripping vs official playback of uhd discs. Currently only Intel GPU can play uhd discs on "official" software like PowerDVD. Of course once decrypted by makemkv that limitation no longer applies.
